ESG Ratings

Hang Seng ESG Index (2021): A+

        The Hang Seng ESG Index and ESG Rating are the results obtained by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, entrusted by Hang Seng Index Company as an independent professional assessment agency, using a dedicated sustainability assessment and scoring mechanism to evaluate the ESG performance of Hong Kong-listed companies and A-share listed companies.

ENN Energy is a constituent stock of the Hang Seng ESG50 Index and the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index.

MSCI ESG Rating (2021): AA

        The MSCI ESG rating is one of the most credible corporate ESG ratings in the capital market. Its rating results have become an important basis for decision-making by major investment institutions around the world. Obtaining a high MSCI rating is a reflection of the company's stable operation and standardized governance. ENN Energy is also a constituent of the MSCI China Large Cap Index.

Dow Jones Sustainability Index (2021): 56

        The Dow Jones Sustainability Index series is the earliest index series that focuses on sustainable development. The series and corresponding ESG ratings have always played an important role in ESG investment, affecting the investment decisions of many ESG investors.

CDP Climate Change Rating: B

CDP is a non-profit organization that provides a global environmental information research center and environmental information disclosure platform. Its globally unified and standardized disclosure guidance system is widely favored by investors around the world, and has been linked to many global financial products such as the STOXX low-carbon index series and CPR Invest – Climate Action Fund, which is an important reference indicator in the field of climate investment.

The "ESG Leaders Award" organized by Bloomberg Businessweek and Deloitte aims to select listed companies and asset management institutions with outstanding ESG performance, and encourage companies to flexibly implement ESG strategies. In the 2021 selection, ENN Energy won the "ESG Leading Enterprise Award" and "ESG Investment Award" for its excellent overall ESG performance and the integration of ESG concepts into the company's business development strategy. At the same time, ENN Energy's Mudanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone biomass pan-energy project was also awarded the "ESG Leading Project Award" for its demonstration role in technological innovation and practice of renewable energy utilization.
